Daniel is on the wrestling team this year, and really likes it a lot. Me?? not soo much.... it is hard for a Momma to watch as their child gets thrown down to the floor. Yes, I know there is a mat but it looks just as hard as the cement floor and sounds about the same when they land on it.
They have red and green bands they wrap around their ankles and the Ref's have the same colored arm bands one on each wrist... this is how the judges know who gets the points ... if you knew that, just remember I am new to all this wrestling stuff...lol
Daniel was checking the leader board to see when and who he would be wrestling next. I had no idea that a wrestling tournament took like...ALL day. It was pretty interesting though and would have been a lot better if I had someone near me to tell me exactly what was going on???? Daniel could have but he was waaaaay too busy...................
......playing an Ipod~Touch in between his matches, to come an explain anything to his Mom.
I think over all I did pretty well myself, I only gasped a few, two, or three times, and only jumped up once to go check on a strangers child that had totally got the breath knocked out of him.... Man!!! I think the wrestling would have been easier on me if I had actually been a participant....because I sure was wore out when I left, or at least my nerves were...lol

I've never really understood wrestling. My son never did it but I bet it is very hard to watch.
I loved to go to our schools wrestling matches when I was in High School. As a mom now, I am sure not so much.
Looks like he is having fun...I'm glad! I know nothing about wrestling, but I'm sure it's hard to watch. We'll have to see him wrestle soon!
