TO GOD I GIVE ALL THE GLORY....

Jeremiah 29:11-13, Words of COMFORT and CONFIDENCE, words that offer HOPE not only to the captives, but also to us today. God knows the future and wants us to trust him for the journey ahead. This is a verse I have come to know and love!!! So much so that I found a bracelet with this verse and just had to buy it, I wear it everyday, It has been what I have needed to help me through this journey of my Daddy having cancer. I have prayed.... I mean down on my knees, hands held to him, and asked for the peace that only he can give, and the strength to be the encourager for my Daddy as well as my Mom.... and he has given that to me, I have asked for God to show him favor and heal him from this horrid disease...... and today I get a call from my Mom who had just got off the phone with Dad's nurse..... His bone scan has MUCH improved in some areas and remains stable in the others.... She was not aware that Dad had a previous CT scan so they will need to compare the two, but she did not mention anything new about this one from Monday. TO GOD I GIVE ALL THE GLORY!! I PRAISE YOU AND I THANK YOU!! Dad will remain on his same treatments (hormone treatments) and he will continue to get his monthly IV and blood work. I will post more when we get home from his Oncologist on Monday. Please continue to lift him up... I am a firm believer in the power of prayer!!!! I have seen many Miracles happen. My new motto ~Expect Miracles~


Hope uncovers new possibilities and shows us what can be done. It wrestles with angels, looks impossibilities in the eye and winks. Hope springs eternal. HOPE supersedes all good intentions.
Positive thinking, on the other hand, can only get you so far. When that train of thought won't get you any further, jump track and keep going by the power of God's grace. After all, you know Immanuel, God who is with us. Dare to believe that he has planned greater things right around the corner for the ones you love. Hold your loved ones before the throne and count on God's answer in their lives. Don't let your ability or inability to think your way around circumstances hold you back. PRAY AND REST.
