This is going to be one of our favorite places to go this year.... where else can you go and see tons of cute little animals, and the ones that might not be so cute or little for that matter are behind bars...lol You can take a lunch and have a picnic, you can feed a few of the animals (after you pay $.25 for their food), and the walking I can get in is great!! and to top it off it is FREE!!!
The kids love going there just as much as I do, awww heck we just love to go and do!! Especially now that I started walking and hiking...wonder how long that will last...probably until I see a snake or wild creature up close and waaaay to personal!! Ticks included...eeeewwww yuck!!! We did see a Water Moccasin(sp??) BUT.... We were on top of the bridge and he was in the water below, we also saw a baby snake of some sort..YIKES!! We just ran passed that one in hopes of not seeing the MOMMA!!! That surely would have ended it there for me!!
